The experience in brief

What do archaeologists do? Where do they work? What tools do they use? On this guided tour, participants will be accompanied on a journey of discovery through the ruins of the Basilica di San Secondo in the archaeological area. From stratigraphic analysis to the transformation of sites into museums, the tour and the workshop aim to increase awareness of archaeology as a profession, from the earliest stages to the re-opening of the site to the public.

The tour and workshop lasts approx. 1 hour and 30 minutes. If necessary, teachers and instructors can agree upon different durations.
