Founded in 1947, the Magnum Photos agency is one of the most important photographic agencies in the world. It is a cooperative owned by the photographers within it and, by its very nature, allows its members great freedom of action, favouring the expression of individual creativity and individual characteristics.
The photographers of the Magnum Agency are famous for having produced some of the most important reportage of recent years, documenting wars, social and natural events, and aspects of society not highlighted by traditional journalism.
The end of the millennium parade was entrusted to twelve different reporters of the Magnum Photos agency founded, among others, by Henri Cartier-Bresson and Robert Capa: David Allan Harvey - Leonard Freed - Gilles Peress - Steve McCurry - Inge Morath - Martine Franck - Elliott Erwitt - Gueorgui Pinkhassov - Bruno Barbey - Ian Berry - Rene Burri - Dennis Stock.
